AJGA returns for the 19th year to Northern Michigan

Boyne Highlands Resort welcomes 78 of the top junior golfers in the country

The Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Boyne Highlands will be played on the 18-hole Moor Course. 2020 marks the 19th year the tournament is held in Harbor Springs, Michigan. The 78-player field features boys and girls, ages of 12 and 19. This is a 54-hole tournament over the span of three days.

Players to watch
Ali Khan of Westerville, Ohio (2020)
The Ball State University commit is playing his first AJGA tournament of 2020 this week. He is the top-ranked boy in the field with a Rolex AJGA Ranking of No. 153. Khan won the 2019 AJGA Dana Incorporated Junior Open.

August Meekhof of Eastmanville, Michigan (2020)
At No. T184 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, Meekhof is one of the top players in the field. He signed a National Letter of Intent with Michigan State University. Meekhof was a semifinalist at the 2020 Michigan Amateur Championship.

Allison Cui of Okemos, Michigan (2022)
Cui is the top-ranked girl in the field at No. T124 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. During the 2019 season, she won the UHY Detroit Junior at Forest Lake and finished seventh at the Randy Wise Junior Open.

Emma Chen of Derwood, Maryland (2022)
Chen has collected eight top-20 finishes. She claims the No. 167 spot in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. In 2019, she finished second at the Windham Mountain Resort Junior All-Star.
