The Harold Varner III Foundation Junior All-Star takes place June 30-July 2 at Tanglewood Park Championship Course in Clemmons, North Carolina. The 54-hole stroke play tournament has a 78-player field in addition to a 18-hole qualifier.

Harold Varner III Foundation was founded in August 2018 and this will be their first sponsored tournament with the AJGA. Harold Varner III is a current PGA TOUR professional. Varner III has been on TOUR since 2012 with one international victory.

- One junior is verbally committed to play college golf at the University of Florida, Jay Brooks of Boca Raton, FL
- Two countries (Mexico and Canada) and 15 states are represented in the field
- Nine juniors are from North Carolina

Players to Watch

Josh Duangmanee of Fairfax, Virginia (2023)
Duangmanee has five AJGA top-20 finishes since 2018. He had back-to-back top-10 finishes in the 2019 season. This is his first event in 2020.

Jay Brooks of Boca Raton, Florida (2023)
Brooks has seven top-20 finishes since he joined the AJGA in 2018. Brooks makes his first AJGA appearance in 2020.

Macy Pate of Boone, North Carolina (2024)
Pate is coming off three AJGA top-10 finishes in 2019. She is playing in her first AJGA event of 2020. Pate is No. T182 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.

Alexsandra Lapple of Pinehurst, North Carolina (2023)
Lapple had three AJGA top-10 finishes in 2019 and will be making her first AJGA start of 2020.
