Hollenbaugh leads for the second day in a row

Piesen leads the Boys Division by two strokes

Kary Hollenbaugh of New Albany, Ohio, improved her score by one stroke allowing her to maintain her lead at a tournament total of 1-under-par 143. She's had eight birdies in the tournament with six of those coming on Nos. 9, 10, and 16 each day. Hollenbaugh won the 2021 Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Boyne Highlands.

In second is Cara Heisterkamp of Westlake, Ohio, with a score of even-par 144. Hesiterkamp had a bogey-free back nine with three birdies in the second round for a round of 3-under-par 69.

With a score of 4-over-par 148, Yingzhi (Jenny) Zhu of (China) Austin, Texas, is in third. She has seven birdies in the tournament.

Nicholas Piesen of Strongsville, Ohio, is the Boys Division solo leader with a score of 6-under-par 138. Piesen leads by 2 strokes and has 10 birdies and one eagle on the tournament. He finished top-10 in the D.A. Points Junior Open earlier this month.

Supapon Amornchaichan of Bangkok, Thailand, is solo second with a score of 4-under-par 140. He finished T2 in the AJGA Junior All-Star at Urbana.

With a score of 3-under-par 141, Nolan Haynes of Barberton, Ohio, Maxwell Tjoa of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Alex Cesare of Westfield, Indiana, are tied for third. Cesare finished the round with four birdies, while Haynes and Tjoa each had one eagle on the back nine.
