Sharing second place with a score of 2-over-par 74 are Anna Heck of Memphis, Tennessee, and Ally Madden of Mason, Ohio. Heck had two birdies and Madden had three with both of them birdieing the 487 yard Par 5 on No. 16.
Maxwell Tjoa of Cedar Falls, Iowa, leads the Boys Division by one stroke with a score of 5-under-par 67. He had a bogey-free back nine with six birdies on the round. Tjoa was the medalist at the 2021 AJGA Preview at Meadowbrook.
In second, third, and fourth are Supapon (Mac) Amornchaichan of Bangkok, Thailand, Nicholas Piesen of Strongsville, Ohio, and Carter Pitcairn of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with scores of 4-under-par 68, 3-under-par 69, and 2-under-par 70, respectively. Amornchaichan and Pitcairn each birdied Nos. 4, 9, 13, and 16. Piesen eagled No. 8 and had four birdies on the round.
