Holman takes solo lead of Girls Division heading into final round

ESTERO, F.L -- Angelica Holman of Fort Pierce, Florida, and Hans Risvaer of Miami, Florida, are the Girls and Boys Division leaders heading into the final round.

Holman leads the Girls Division after posting a tournament low 2-under-par 70 in the second round. She currently sits at 1-under-par 143 `through the first two rounds. Holman had 5 birdies including a 15-foot birdie putt on No. 9 to take the lead. The Daytona State College verbal commit will be seeking her first career AJGA victory tomorrow as she tees off at 8:25 a.m. on July 16, 2021.

Katelyn Huber of Gainesville, Florida, is currently in second place after shooting even-par 72 in the round. Huber sits one shot behind the leader with a total score of even-par 144. Huber will be teeing off at 8:25 a.m. on July 16, 2021, looking to defend her Stoneybrook title.

Analiese Raath of Lakeland, Florida, is currently in third place after shooting four-over-par 76 in the round. Raath sits three shots behind the leader with a total score of 2-over-par 146. Raath will be seeking her first career AJGA victory as she tees off with Huber and Holman at 8:25 a.m. on July 16, 2021.

Risvaer sits atop of the Boys Division leaderboard after shooting 4-under-par 68 in the second round. He recorded four birdies including a birdie on No. 18 that put him into the solo lead. The Florida native will tee off at 9:45 a.m. on July 16, 2021 in pursuit of his first career AJGA victory.

Gustavo Rangel of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, is currently one stroke behind Risvaer in second place. After a roller-coaster ride of a second round, he finished with six birdies, including back-to-back birdies on Nos. 17 & 18, to finish at 2-under-par 70 in the second round.

Tomas Amaya of Queretaro, Mexico, sits two strokes back after matching his first round score of 2-under-par 70 in the second round. Amaya finished with three straight birdies on the back nine.
