Beauchamp and Wang lead after round 1 in Stableford play

Jiayi Wang - 2021 - Billy Horschel Junior Championship

Jiayi Wang of Shanghai, China, leads the Girls Division with seven stableford points. The 2022 graduate recorded three bogeys and five birdies to get to the top of the leaderboard. Wang came into the field this week as the top ranked girl at No. 71 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. Her 2021 season has included three top-5 finishes and one top-10 finish.

Two points behind Wang in second with five stableford points is McKenzie Mages of Marietta, Georgia. Floridian Karoline Tuttle is in solo third with four points.

Yoko Tai of (Singapore) Windermere, Florida, earned one point putting her in solo fourth. Rounding out the top-5 is Elizabeth Beek of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, and Ally Black of Austin, Texas, sharing fifth at zero points.

Jack Beauchamp - 2021 - Billy Horschel Junior Championship

Jack Beauchamp of Westlake, Texas, leads the Boys Division with 10 points. Beauchamp was the only player in either division to record a double digit stableford score today. Beauchamp who began and ended his round with bogeys recorded eight birdies on his way to the lead. The 2022 graduate has three top-10 AJGA finishes this season.

Campbell Kennedy of St. Augustine, Florida, Erik Plenge of Lima, Peru, and Reed Sweigart of Roswell, Georgia, all share second place with eight points a piece.

Johnnie Clark of Mesa, Arizona, rounds out the top-5 with seven points.
