Rinkol racks up 10 birdies en route to earning medalist honors

Wang had a bogey-free back nine in her medalist victory

Chance Rinkol of Leawood, Kansas, shot a 7-under-par 65 Sunday to earn his first career AJGA medalist victory. Rinkol had 10 birdies in the round including streaks on Nos. 5-7 and 10-12. Rinkol is coming off a fourth place finish at the AJGA Junior All-Star at Urbana on Thursday.

Lanzhi (Victoria) Wang of (Hong Kong) Laguna Niguel, California, fired three birdies in her 2-under-par 70 medalist victory. Wang had a bogey-free back nine to secure her medalist flag. This is Wang's second medalist victory this summer.
