After 36 holes at Hickory Hills Golf Club, Benjamin Cors of Wooster, Ohio, leads the Boys Division. His first 18 holes at 3-under-par 68 were a bogey free. Cors has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at the University of Dayton and is coming off a tennis state championship 10 days ago.

In a tie for second at 2-over-par 144 are Joshua Qian of Westerville, Ohio, and Morgan Lofland of Paoli, Pennsylvania.
Nicholas Piesen of Strongsville, Ohio, John Bradbeer of Rosemont, Pennsylvania, Braeden Sladek of Alexandria, Minnesota, and Carter Housler of Lansing, Michigan are all tied for fourth at 3-over-par 145.
In the Girls Division, Kary Hollenbaugh of New Albany, Ohio, holds a four-stroke lead after the first and second rounds. She birdied Nos. 1 and 8 as a part of seven total birdies during the first 36 holes played June 8. Hollenbaugh, a 2022 grad, is No. 168 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
Rounding out the top three are Eleanor Hudepohl of Cincinnati, Ohio at 4-over-par 146, and Caiyi (Flora) Zhang of (China) Bradenton, Florida at 5-over-par 147. Zhang was the only girl to card a round under par with her first 18 holes played at 3-under-par 68.
