With a score of 1-under-par 143, Surapa Janthamunee of Phuket, Thailand is solo second. Janthamunee had a bogey-less front nine with four birdies. She has seven birdies and one eagle on the tournament. Maggie Ni of Cypress, Texas, is the only girl at even-par 144 bringing her to third place. Ni was the runner-up in the 2021 Circle K Junior Championship hosted by Otter Creek.
Sam Morris of Tulsa, Oklahoma, leads the Boys Division with a score of 2-under-par 142. He improved his round score by four strokes, finishing the day at 3-under-par 69. In June 2021, Morris finished fifth in the SCPGA Junior PGA Championship.
