The Sam Burns Classic at The Landings Club is back for the second year on the AJGA schedule. The 54-hole stroke play event will feature 78-players from around the world. In the Boys Division an exemption to the Korn Ferry TOUR's Club Car Championship is on the line.
The Landings Club annually hosts the Club Car Championship where tournament host Sam Burns won in 2018.
AJGA alumni Sam Burns serves as the tournament host this week. The 2014 Rolex Junior Player of the Year won three times as a junior including the year ending Rolex Tournament of Champions. Before attending Louisiana State University, Sam was honored three times as a Rolex Junior All-American. Since turning professional in 2017, Sam Burns has won three times on the PGA TOUR. Including recently defending his title at the Valspar Championship.
