The Natural Resource Partners Bluegrass Junior presented by Encova Insurance will take place June 12-16, 2023, at Bellefonte Country Club in Ashland, Kentucky. The 96-player field will play a 54-hole stroke play tournament with a 36-hole cut.
The first Bluegrass Junior was held in 1981 at Spring Lakes Country Club in Lexington, Kentucky, before moving to the Arlington Golf Center in 1982. Since 1984, Bellefonte Country Club has hosted the tournament, making it the longest-running AJGA venue. This year, the tournament will celebrate its 40th consecutive event with a milestone anniversary and is looking forward to crowning a set of new champions this year.
