Meet the 2023 Wyndham Cup Teams

Santa Rosa, CA - The 2023 Wyndham Cup, now in its 33rd year, will return to Mayacama Golf Club for the first time since 2017. This will be the second year that Mayacama Golf Club in Santa Rosa, California, has hosted the Wyndham Cup.

The team match play invitational will showcase the top 40 juniors from across the East and West coast of the United States, July 10-13, 2023. Over the course of three days, the two teams will compete in four different formats in pursuit of the cup; four-ball, four-somes, mixed four-somes and singles.

The West Team looks to keep their title as defending champions after their 31-19 victory in the 2022 Wyndham Cup at Old Sandwich Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The East Team is led by Ethan Gao of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Gianna Clemente of Estero, Florida. Both juniors are 3x Rolex Junior All-Americans and are currently ranked No. 3 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. Gao earned three AJGA victories and is committed to play golf at Stanford University in the fall. Clemente has four total AJGA victories, two of which were at The PING Invitational (2021,2022).
The East Team consists of 13 Rolex Junior All-Americans and 17 past AJGA champions. The team also includes 12 players who are committed to play college golf.

Gross, B. Kim, Maybank, Clemente and Im are the only returning members from the East Team.

Yana Wilson leads the West Team at No.1 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. The University of Oregon commit has three AJGA victories. Two of those victories were at invitationals, one being this year at the inaugural Mizuho Americas Open at Liberty National Golf Club.
The West Team consists of 14 Rolex Junior All-Americans and 18 past AJGA champions. 16 of the 20 members on the West Team are committed to play college golf.

Guan, C. Kim, Chien, A. Davis, Koo, LaHa, Romero and Wilson are the returning members of the West Team.
