MILTON, GA. – For the 33rd year of the Rolex Girls Junior Championship, the top-ranked female junior golfers in the world are brought together to compete over 54 holes in this quintessential all-girls Invitational.
The 2024 field for this all-girls event features 72 well-accomplished and title-holding junior golfers. There are 26 Rolex Junior All-Americans in the field and 53 AJGA champions. The field includes four seniors from the class of 2024, 30 players from the class of 2025, 25 sophomores from the class of 2026, eight freshmen (class of 2027), four eighth graders (class of 2028), and one seventh grader in the class of 2029.
As of June 16, there are eight of the top 20 players in the Rolex AJGA Rankings in the field. The top five players in the field include: No. 2 Gianna Clemente, No. 4 Asterisk Talley, No. 11 Kylie Chong, No. 13 Thanana Kotchasanmanee and No.14 Ryleigh Knaub.
Field Summary:
Gianna Clemente of Estero, Florida (Class of 2026)
Clemente is No. 2 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. She became a Rolex Junior All-American in 2020 and has earned 8 top-10 AJGA finishes since 2022. She holds five AJGA titles with her most recent championship being the 2024 Mizuho Americas Open where she played alongside LPGA Tour pros. This will be Clemente's third appearance in the Rolex Girls Junior Championship where she finished runner-up in 2022 and T17 in 2021.
Asterisk Talley of Chowchilla, California (Class of 2027)
Talley holds the No. 4 spot on the AJGA Rolex Rankings and is a two-time Rolex Junior All-American. At the age of 15, Talley holds four AJGA titles and earned six top-10 AJGA finishes in the past two years. Her most recent victory was at the 2023 C.T. Pan Foundation Championship. This will be Talley's third year at the event, and returns as the defending champion.
Kylie Chong of Torrence, California (Class of 2024)
Chong occupies the No. 11 spot on the Rolex AJGA Rankings as a two-time Rolex Junior All-American and has Signed National Letter of Intent to the University of Southern California. She has earned herself three AJGA championships with six top-10 AJGA finishes in two years. This will be Chong's fourth year competing in the Rolex Girls Junior Championship.
Thanana Kotchasanmanee of Rome, Georgia (Class of 2025)
Kotchasanmanee currently holds the No. 13 spot on the Rolex AJGA Rankings as a two-time Rolex Junior All-American and is verbally committed to Princeton University. Thanana finished as a co runner-up at the 2024 Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex and has established six top-10 AJGA finishes in the past three years. This will be her third appearance in the Rolex Girls Junior Championship.
Ryleigh Knaub of Debary, Florida (Class of 2025)
Knaub is the No.14 ranked junior on the Rolex AJGA Rankings and is a 2023 Rolex Junior All-American. She is verbally committed to Louisiana State University, and won the 2021 AJGA Junior All-Star at Firewheel. Ryleigh also has six top-10 AJGA finishes since 2022. This will be her second year competing in the Rolex Girls Junior Championship.
