The Nemacolin Junior All-Star is recognized as the American Junior Golf Association’s (AJGA) 2024 Junior All-Star Tournament of the Year.
The Nemacolin Junior All-Star was first held in 2014 at the Mystic Rock Golf Course at Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Ten years later in 2024, the tournament returned to the course and made history.
“This award reflects Nemacolin’s longstanding commitment to supporting junior golf. Their support as both Title Sponsor and Host Venue, as well as their belief in our double-tournament model, allowed us to expand the number of playing opportunities available and enabled us to further our mission."
Not only were participating players given to the chance to play on one of Golfweek’s Top 200 Resort Golf Courses in the U.S. in 2025, but they were also treated with the utmost hospitality by the tournament committee.
Nemacolin Resort displayed an unwavering commitment to the AJGA’s “Project Zero” initiative, a project aimed to alleviate costs associated with staff lodging, food/water, a medic and transportation to maximize the amount that goes to charity. Through the committee’s support, the event incurred zero costs in 5 of the 7 Project categories, which greatly impacted the charitable efforts of the tournament.

The tournament committee and community also made considerable efforts to drum up extra funds. Beyond the Title Sponsor, the tournament committee raised additional funds, allowing the tournament to give over $26,000 to charity.
The Nemacolin Junior All-Star tournament committee is committed to hosting future tournaments, continuing its legacy of excellence. The Junior All-Star Tournament of the Year Award will be presented at this year’s event held from July 23-25, 2025, at the Mystic Rock Golf Course at Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania.
