Greensboro, NC — Jessy Huebner of Port St. Lucie, Florida, fired a 12-under-par 198 to win the Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey. The University of Florida and 2025 Rolex Junior All-American carded four birdies in the final round to secure a one-stroke victory and take home the trophy.
Huebner went into the final round with a two-stroke lead over his opponents and started the front nine bogey-free with two birdies. With a double bogey on the par-4 No. 14, the back nine proved to be a test for Huebner, but he quickly bounced back with birdies on Nos. 15 and 17 to tie Jackson Ormond for first.
Finishing with 16 birdies overall, Huebner holds the record for the fourth-most birdies in tournament history. He also tied his own 2025 record for the fewest bogeys or worse, only carding three during the tournament. This marks Huebner’s first Invitational win, third career AJGA victory and seventh top-10 Invitational finish.
“I came up just short of the win last year which definitely stung, but I was happy to get it done this time. The AJGA prepared me pretty well for moments like these.”
Finishing tied for second at 11-under-par 199 are Jackson Ormond of Webster, New York, and Mingbo Jiang of (China) Orlando, Florida. Ormond capped off an impressive showing at the Wyndham Invitational presented by Odyssey, earning low final-round honors with a 7-under-par 63. He tied the record for the second-most birdies in tournament history, carding 17 and two eagles. He opened the tournament in commanding fashion, finishing the first round in solo first before slipping to fifth after the second round. Ormond quickly re-established himself as a contender, surging back into a tie for first behind a historic run of seven consecutive birdies on Nos. 5 through 11, setting a new event record. This will be his fifth top-10 Invitational finish and his last AJGA tournament before teeing it up at Shinnecock Hills for the U.S. Open.
Jiang came into the tournament ranked No. 44 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and finished the tournament with an impressive 16 birdies and one eagle. Jiang finished the first round tied for 13th but built momentum during the second round, climbing up the leaderboard 10 spots to end tied for third. This is Jiang’s fourth top-10 Invitational finish.
Matthew Hull of Corona Del Mar, California, finished fourth, shooting 8-under-par 202. Hull had a bogey-free front nine highlighted by birdies on Nos. 13 and 16. This is his first top-10 Invitational finish.
Andy Dai of Markham, Ontario, Canada, finished fifth, scoring 6-under-par 204. Dai posted a smooth bogey-free final round with four birdies on Nos. 3, 5, 8, and 16. This is his first appearance at an AJGA Invitational, finishing in the top 10.
