**Players who earn Lifetime Status through the World Championships will receive PBE Performance Stars for the following calendar year only, not on an ongoing annual basis.
The AJGA's Performance Based Entry system ("PBE") rewards stellar performance by golfers in junior tournaments all across the United States and North America, including AJGA events and non-AJGA events. Players accrue PBE "Performance Stars" which are used to prioritize players' entry into AJGA Open (ages 12-19) and Junior All-Star Series (ages 12-15) events. PBE Performance Stars can be earned by AJGA members and non-members.

PBE Performance Stars earned through U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status are valid for the season awarded, but can be re-earned if the player maintains their Priority Status with U.S. Kids in subsequent years. However, all other PBE Performance Stars are valid from the day they are earned for the remainder of the AJGA season they are earned and the entire following season!

    When will the four Priority Status Performance Stars appear on my AJGA account?
    PBE Performance Stars for USKG Priority Status are typically awarded by late January for that calendar year. The AJGA receives a full list of all qualifying players from U.S. Kids Golf's previous season and processes those players as quickly as possible.

    I think I met all the Priority Status requirements but I haven't received my PBE Performance Stars. Why?
    First, please make sure you meet all the requirements:

    1. You earned USKG Priority Status Level 12, 13, 14, or Lifetime in the previous year;
    2. You will be at least 12 years old by August 31 of this year;
    3. You will not turn 20 years old at any point in this year.

    If you do meet all those requirements and have not received your 4 PBE Performance Stars by February 1, please contact Jacob Wildes at the AJGA (jwildes@ajga.org). In most cases, your name or email on file with U.S. Kids Golf may differ from the name and/or email on file for the AJGA. In those cases, the AJGA's system cannot automatically "match" these records and a manual fix is needed.

    Are international U.S. Kids Golf players eligible for PBE Performance Stars via Priority Status?
    Yes. Players of any nationality or citizenship are eligible to receive the four PBE Performance Stars offered by the AJGA, provided they earned sufficient U.S. Kids Priority Status (Level 12, 13, 14, or Lifetime) in the previous year. The AJGA proudly serves over 1,000 international members from over 60 countries.

    Where on the website can I see my player's total Performance Stars?
    AJGA members should login to their Player Center account and select "PBE STATUS" from the navigation bar. Listed on that page are all awarded PBE Performance Stars, which can be earned from USKG Priority Status, AJGA events, and non-AJGA events.

    Non-members should call AJGA Player Services at (770) 868-4200 for inquiries about earned PBE Stars, and for assistance setting up your AJGA membership.

    I have earned PBE Performance Stars via USKG Priority Status, but I'm not a AJGA member. What do I do?
    The AJGA Player Services team emails every U.S. Kids player who has earned Performance Stars for their Priority Status. For AJGA non-members, this email is sent to the email on file with U.S. Kids Golf. Please check that inbox for an email message, which will provide next steps to apply for AJGA Membership and access your awarded PBE Performance Stars.

    If you believe that you were eligible to receive PBE due to last year's U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status, and have not received an email, please contact AJGA Player Services at ajga@ajga.org or (770) 868-4200.

    I turn 12 years old this year, but after August 31. Why am I ineligible?
    Players must be at least 12 years old to participate in AJGA events. Because nearly all AJGA events occur in spring and summer, the AJGA only awards Performance Stars for USKG Priority Status to those players who are likely to be able to use them for entry into events that year.

    If you turn 12 too late this year, be sure to maintain your U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status for the following year and you will be eligible at that time!

    Please note that 11-year olds can earn Performance Stars by high placements at PBE-accredited non-AJGA events, including U.S. Kids Golf multi-day events. PBE Performance Stars earned by tournament performance (not Priority Status) are valid the remainder of that year and all of the next year.

    Which types of AJGA events do not require PBE to gain entry?
    Each year, the AJGA offers dozens of playing opportunities that do not consider players' PBE totals to fill the tournament field:

    AJGA Preview Series tournaments are designed as an introductory experience for new AJGA players and give priority to players who have yet to participate in an AJGA tournament. Preview Series events are for either Ages 12-15 or Ages 12-19.

    AJGA Qualifiers are 18-holes and are held at nearly all Open, Junior All-Star, and Preview Series tournaments. In addition to competing to qualify into that week's tournament, AJGA Qualifier participants who finish in the top 50% of their field will earn at least 1 PBE Performance Star.
