The Liberty National ACE Grant financial assistance program has helped junior golfers pursue their dreams since 2003. In the wake of COVID-19, the opportunity to earn a college scholarship will be more important than ever for members. Hear from families directly impacted by the pandemic and your support:
Using the Leadership Links platform, junior golfers have raised more than $3 million for charity since 2009.
Some of our members responded to the worldwide crisis with leadership and swift action:
- raising money for first responders and healthcare workers
- assembling PPE kits for use at events
- making masks
- creating care packages for hospitals
- using their talents to raise money for others impacted by the economic shutdown in the golf industry
Finally, the AJGA's industry-leading Internship program provides a critical training and development opportunity, empowering staff to operate a tournament behind the scenes in communications and operations. Thanks to incredible efforts of the staff and seven intern teams, 97 events were operated after a June restart.
