For the past three years, AJGA parent, Fabio Passos, has been watching his son play in junior golf tournaments all over the country. After seeing the AJGA's mission at work, he knew he wanted to find a way to get involved.
Passos, owner of Spot X Hotel, soon saw his opportunity unfold right in front of him. With his efforts and support, Passos contributed to SPOT X Hotel's first sponsored AJGA tournament.

In a time where words such as equity and equality are vaguely deceptively employed, the AJGA has consistently provided opportunities to kids who have the desire and determination to forge golf as a pathway for college education, regardless of their backgrounds."
With two locations in Orlando, Florida, SPOT X Hotel, part of The Red Collection by Red Roof, is looking to expand in the near future. But getting their name out there was only a part of it, Passos also wanted to share the perks with fellow AJGA families. SPOT X Hotel has offered all AJGA members a 10% off voucher on top of the lowest rate for future use.

The SPOT X Hotel Junior Championship presented by Florida's Historic Coast was the first AJGA tournament of the 2022 season. The event hosted 72 junior golfers at the World Golf Village - Slammer & Squire course in St. Augustine, Florida, from January 14-17. Full results .
