The inaugural Georgia Junior Cup , hosted by David and Maxwell Ford, took place over the weekend at Atlanta Athletic Club . The two-day event featured a par-3 contest on Saturday and 18-hole Ryder Cup style singles matches on Sunday.

The Georgia Junior Cup kicked off the 2021 State Cup Series schedule, which features several events across the country where junior golfers earn entry through fundraising.

In total, Georgia Junior Cup participants raised more than $75K, with proceeds benefiting the Bobby Jones Golf Course Foundation , Summit Counseling and the AJGA's Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant .

Their fundraising total is the most ever raised through Leadership Links for a State Cup Series event.
