UHY LLP (UHY) will remain an Official Partner of the American Junior Golf Association through 2024 after adding an additional three years of support. The Official Partnership totals seven years of dedication to growing the game and providing opportunities for hundreds of junior golfers annually.

As an Official Partner, UHY continues to serve as the title or presenting sponsor of six AJGA junior championships.
We are proud to continue our support as the Official Accounting Firm of the AJGA which will help support not only the growth and development of junior golfers, but will also provide support for the AJGA’s numerous charitable endeavors.
UHY will continue to conduct its popular UHY Prep Series junior tournaments for the purpose of granting exemptions to AJGA junior championships for which UHY serves as title or presenting sponsor. “The UHY Prep Series provides additional competitive opportunities for junior golfers aspiring to gain entry to AJGA Open Championships throughout the U.S. in many of the markets we serve,” said UHY Partner and board member Steve Wendling. “We are looking forward to kicking off our 2022 season January 8 – 9 at Southern Pines Golf Club, the recently renovated and highly-acclaimed Donald Ross design in Southern Pines, North Carolina.”
With multiple event locations including Albany, Atlanta, Baltimore, Detroit, metro New York and St. Louis, UHY has supported more than 20 AJGA tournaments, providing more than 2,400 playing opportunities across the country and featuring almost 50 event champions.
Past UHY tournament participants include many players who have seen success in academics, golf and their community. They are standout students, leaders and junior golfers and have gone on to have successful collegiate careers.
Brooke Biermann of Wildwood, Missouri, and Ian Johnston of Swisher, Iowa, won the 2018 UHY St. Louis Junior at The Legends Club in Eureka, Missouri.
Biermann’s win was the first of her career and she went on to become a three-time AJGA champion and two-time Rolex Junior All-American. Biermann is now a freshman playing college golf at Michigan State University. Johnston also won his first AJGA title in St. Louis and was awarded the AJGA’s 2018 Jerry Cole Sportsmanship Award, presented to a junior who has overcome adversity off the course, displays integrity and sportsmanship in all aspects of life and embodies the spirit of the game by seeking opportunities to give back. He is currently on the men’s golf team at the University of South Dakota.
In addition, the company will continue to support an annual UHY accounting internship at AJGA National Headquarters in Braselton, Georgia.
