Braselton, GA – The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is excited to announce a new partnership with Wegmans as the Preferred Regional Supermarket of the AJGA.

Wegmans, a renowned regional supermarket chain with over 110 stores along the east coast, has committed to a three-year partnership focused on supporting youth development, underprivileged initiatives, job creation, and sports nutrition.

For decades, we have sponsored youth sports programs like AJGA because of the important role they play in providing positive activities for young people, while also promoting social and personal development, physical and mental health, and a path to further education.
Linda Lovejoy, Wegmans Corporate Community Relations Manager

The partnership between the AJGA and Wegmans is driven by a commitment to support youth development in golf and the broader community. Starting in 2024, Wegmans will provide support to AJGA events that are located near Wegmans’ territory. This support includes providing on-site products such as water, sports drinks, fruit and more for players, spectators and staff members alike.

We are delighted to announce our partnership with Wegmans as the Preferred Regional Supermarket of the AJGA. This collaboration signifies our shared dedication to youth development and community engagement through the sport of golf.
Patrick Cansfield, AJGA, Director of Business Development

With the support of Wegmans, we look forward to expanding opportunities for junior golfers, fostering healthy lifestyles and making a positive impact on the communities we serve.
