Vilips broke the Polo Golf Junior Classic - Fazio Course record by carding a bogey-free round with five birdies and an eagle. Since PGA National Resort & Spa started hosting the event in 2009, the lowest two-day total in the Boys Division is six under set by Emiliano Grillo and Adam Wood. Youngin Chun leads the Girls Division heading into the final round of stroke play with a score of 3-under-par 69. Chun made it into the round of 16 at the 2015 Polo Golf Junior Classic. The three-time Rolex Junior All-American is among 26 juniors in the field who have multiple Rolex Junior All-America Awards. Notable medalists in stroke play include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar and Emiliano Grillo in the Boys Division and Vicki Goetze, Grace Park, Aree Song in the Girls Division.
