The Girls Team took the Skills Challenge on Wednesday night at Blessings Golf Club.

First-round leaders sit at 3 under par and the Boys Team leads by a single stroke.

Alyaa Abdulghany of Newport Beach, California, won the individual stroke play at the 2017 Toyota Junior Golf World Cup supported by JAL.

Here's what to watch for in the first round at the KPMG Stacy Lewis Junior All-Star Invitational.

Cole Hammer of Houston, is No. 11 in the AJGA Rankings. The 17-year-old has competed with the AJGA since 2013, taking home his first title at the 2015 Junior All-Star at Watters Creek. The two-time Rolex Junior All-American has earned 22 top-20 finishes in his career. At age 15, the University of Texas at Austin verbal commit became the third-youngest player to compete in the U.S. Open. Hammer will represent the West Team for the second year at the 2017 Wyndham Cup. He currently serves on the AJGA Board of Directors as a player representative. Emilia Migliaccio of Cary, North Carolina, has done it all as she nears the end of her junior career. The 18-year-old has claimed eight national tournament titles, including a three-peat at the Scott Robertson Memorial (2015-2017). Migliaccio has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Wake Forest University. She has been named a Rolex Junior All-American three times. At No. 4 in the AJGA Rankings, the girl’s golf standout has also represented the United States at the Junior Ryder Cup (2016). This year’s Wyndham Cup will mark the third appearance on the East Team for Migliaccio. Erica Shepherd of Greenwood, Indiana, is No. 11 in the AJGA Rankings and competing in her first Wyndham Cup. The Duke University verbal commit has two victories: the 2016 Justin Rose Junior All-Star Invitational at Reynolds Lake Oconee and the 2016 AJGA Junior All-Star at The Virtues. Shepherd has amassed 13 top-10 finishes in her four-year AJGA career, including second at the 2017 Rolex Girls Junior Championship. The two-time Rolex Junior All-American was also named to the 2015 ACDS Junior All-Star Team. Gina Kim of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is a two-time North Carolina 3A state champion. The Duke University verbal commit has been an AJGA junior for six years. A three-time Rolex Junior All-American, Kim has claimed titles at the 2014 AJGA Junior at Cattail Creek and the 2016 Rolex Girls Junior Championship. She was also honored with a spot on the 2016 U.S. Junior Ryder Cup team. The 17-year-old has amassed 27 top-20 finishes to climb her way to No. 9 in the AJGA Rankings. Kim will represent the East Team at her second Wyndham Cup. Kaitlyn Papp of Austin, Texas, has competed with the AJGA since 2012. The high school senior is No.13 in the AJGA Rankings and has signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the University of Texas at Austin next year. Papp has earned Rolex Junior All-America honors in four consecutive years and won the 2014 PING Invitational and the 2015 AJGA Girls Championship. The seasoned junior also reached the Round of 64 at the 2013 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship. In 2016, Papp was a player representative for the AJGA Board of Directors.
