AJGA Junior at Vista Valley

Evan Vo of Austin, Texas, and Ashleigh Park of Irvine, California, came out victorious at the AJGA Junior at Vista Valley.

Ashleigh Park of Irvine, California, leads after shooting an impressive three-under-par 68 in the second round.

Jeevan Sihota of (Canada) Victoria, British Columbia, and Evan Vo of Austin, Texas are tied atop the leaderboard after shooting a two-round total of one-under-par 141. Sihota began the second round in first place and continued his strong play with a one-over-par 74. Vo, an Auburn University verbal commit, shot a two-under-par 69 which included an eagle on the par-5 ninth hole.

Angela (Yilin) Liu of (China) Irvine, California leads by one after the first round. Liu put together an impressive back-nine shooting even-par and finishing the round on a high note. The class of 2024 graduate is looking for her first AJGA victory since her win at the 2018 Billy Horschel Junior Championship presented by Zurich.

Jeevan Sihota of (Canada) Victoria, British Columbia, leads by three after an opening round of four-under-par 67. The fifteen year old enters the tournament looking for his first AJGA victory. In 2018, Sihota was named a Rolex Junior All-American and had three top-10 finishes.

The 54-hole AJGA Junior at Vista Valley will be held from January 17-20, 2020, at Vista Valley Country Club in Vista, California. This is the third consecutive year that Vista Valley Country Club has hosted the AJGA and this year it features one of the strongest Open Championship fields.
