In order to fully process your request for private housing, you will be sent information via email to complete. The AJGA will be facilitating background checks of all possible housing options as a way to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere during the event. These checks come with a $50 non-refundable, administrative fee. Upon your request for private housing, the AJGA will bear the expense of the check up-front, and thus, the fee is non-refundable as the process cannot be reversed or withdrawn.

Additional Practice Rounds Information

Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club and practice facilities are CLOSED to AJGA participants (who are not themselves members of the club) until Sunday, June 21, 2019 and players are subject to a TWO-STROKE PENALTY for failure to comply with this policy. Do not call or approach the Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club, any club employee or member inquiring about extra practice rounds or accessing the grounds. The Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club is a private club and the membership and staff have been very generous in allowing the AJGA to host the AJGA Junior at Palo Alto at this venue during our official dates. Arriving on-site prior to Sunday, July 21 and attempting to call, practice, play or see the club and/or golf course will result in a TWO-STROKE PENALTY assessed to the first hole of the first round of the AJGA Junior at Palo Alto.

Player Registration is mandatory. Players who fail to attend this functions without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss Player Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from this event because they are not staying at the host hotel, are staying in private housing for the week, or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.

Note: Players assume the entire risk if they call any other number or individual and receive an incorrect starting time.

A tie for the championship will be decided by a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. As inclement weather may delay play, please make your departing flight as late as possible. The AJGA will play until dark if necessary to complete the tournament.

AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE: At all events players will receive a small sand bottle prior to the round to use throughout the day to fill divots on the course. Sand-filling stations will be set up around the course for players to use during their round. The driving range will be set up with sand for players to use following their practice session before and after the round.

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS: All Junior Plus Members will have the opportunity to have their swings taped on the driving range for the College Coaches website at any time during the event. Players must see the Tournament Director to schedule a time to film their swing video. If you are unsure of your membership status, a list is available in tournament headquarters.

Code of Conduct: All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Code of Conduct. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct. PACE OF PLAY: All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Pace of Play policy. Pace of play will be reviewed with all players during the Players Meeting, the Practice Round and on the starting tees before each round. Other Information: The condition of competition requiring a player’s clubs conform to the groove and punch mark specifications as detailed in the Rules of Golf Effective January 2019 is IN effect for AJGA competitions. To determine if a club or set of clubs conforms to the new specifications, players should first search the Informational Club Database (Grooves) which is available at http://www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/index.asp .
· Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site to receive an approved cart.
· Caddies are not permitted in AJGA tournament play.
· Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.

NO SHOW POLICY: If you find that you cannot compete in this event, you must withdraw from the event online through the Player Center. If the online withdrawal option is not available, you must speak directly with the tournament director. Complete withdrawal procedures prior to the start of an event are available at ajga.org. This allows the AJGA to replace you with an alternate. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show," and the following action may be taken:

1. If you have already been accepted for another event, you may be notified of your disqualification from that event.
2. If you have not been accepted in another event at this time, your next application may not be considered.
3. If this offense is repeated, you may not be allowed to play in any more events for the remainder of the year.
