Failure to comply with these rules and Eagle Harbor Golf Club rules and regulations with regards to social distancing may result in the forfeiture of your practice round and potentially disqualification from the tournament.
AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE: As part of the AJGA’s Code of Conduct policy players are required to fill their divots and ball marks on the golf course. Players will receive a small, lightweight sand bottle at the beginning of each event and should fill the bottles at the sand filling stations on each tee as necessary. The penalty for not following this policy is as follows:
· 1st & 2nd offense – Player receives a verbal warning
· 3rd & subsequent offenses – Player receives a one-stroke penalty

TOURNAMENT TEE TIMES/PAIRINGS
Official Pairings Available: Thursday, October 8
Tee Times: 7:15 – 11:25 a.m. off No. 1
Final Round Pairings Available: Sunday, October 11
Time: 6 p.m.
Note: Players assume the entire risk if they call any other number or individual and receive an incorrect starting time.
A tie for the championship will be decided by a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. As inclement weather may delay play, please make your departing flight as late as possible.
Tournament Format: The Billy Horschel Junior Championship presented by Zurich will be a stableford competition. We will be using the modified stableford format where points will be awarded (or deducted) based on your score for each hole:
- Albatross: +8 points
- Eagle: +5 points
- Birdie: +2 points
- Par: 0 points
- Bogey: -1 point
- Double Bogey or worse: -3 points
The champion will be determined by the player who has the most points after 54 holes. Since double bogey is the “worst” one could do on a hole, after a double bogey has been made the player is allowed, and encouraged, to pick up for that hole. Because players are not required to hole out, this event will not be counted by Junior Golf Scoreboard. This is an AJGA Open tournament. PBE status will be awarded accordingly, and the tournament will be included in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. PLEASE NOTE that the tournament will NOT be included in Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings. Billy Horschel is very excited about the opportunity to teach juniors how to play aggressively. This was the main reason Billy and the AJGA chose the stableford format and why we have stated a double bogey is the highest score a player can receive.
TOURNAMENT TO GO COOKOUT
All players and parents will be provided with complimentary meals during the event compliments of Billy and Brittany Horschel. More details to follow at a later date.

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS: All Junior Plus Members will have the opportunity to have their swings taped on the driving range for the College Coaches website at any time during the event. Players must contact the Tournament Director to schedule a time to film their swing video.
RANGEFINDERS: The AJGA allows the usage of distance-measuring devices in all AJGA competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).
