PRACTICE FACILITIES: To promote social distancing players are encouraged to arrive on-site no more than one hour before their posted tee time. Players will be allowed to warm-up on the driving range or practice putting green in the order that they choose.
CODE OF CONDUCT: The AJGA will not tolerate players or parents who do not adhere to guidelines put in place to promote social distance and player safety. We reserve the right to penalize and/or disqualify players who knowingly and willingly disregard our policies to promote social distance. Players are also responsible for the actions of their family members.
POST ROUND: Limited practice will be permitted at the host facility. All players will have 60 minutes starting immediately when the player leaves the scoring area. Players must spend the first 30 minutes on the driving range (off the mats & players must purchase range balls inside the clubhouse) and the following 30 minutes on the putting green (next to the clubhouse). An AJGA staff member or volunteer will be monitoring the practice facilities and expect all players and approved spectators to appropriately social distance. Failure to abide by the outlined practice facility schedule or failure to properly social distance may result in forfeiture of additional practice time.
SPECTATORS: As approved by the local government and host facility players are allowed limited spectators on-site for the tournament. Spectators are limited to immediate family only, which includes, parents, guardians, grandparents and siblings. If a player is traveling with a guardian or chaperone, who may or may not be an immediate family member, only the guardian or chaperone will be allowed to spectate. Social distancing guidelines will be monitored and enforced throughout the tournament. Players with spectators on-site who are not immediate family could be subject to a one-stroke penalty under the AJGA Code of Conduct Policy

Practice Round and Tournament Hole Locations are available on the tournament website. The AJGA will not have hard copies of these available. All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart. All parents and family members are always required to stay on the cart path during the practice round.

Additional Practice Rounds Information
Players may arrange additional practice rounds by contacting Stanford Golf Course at (650) 724-0944 on an individual basis. Additional practice rounds will be $150 for player and $225 for parents or guests. The cart fee is $17 per player, limit two carts per group. Players may book additional practice round tee times as early as 2 weeks prior to the event, anytime on the weekdays and after 1 p.m. on weekends. Additional practice rounds will be subject to Stanford Golf Course’s availability.
*Current COVID-19 restrictions state no more than three households can book an additional practice round tee time together. Additionally, there is a one household per cart policy. Please be mindful of these restrictions when booking additional practice rounds.*
Additional practice rounds are at the individual’s expense and are provided at a reduced rate by the AJGA and the host facility. Players and guests must comply with all rules & expectations at the host facility including, but not limited to, a restriction of the number of shots to be played, disrespectful behavior towards host club staff and/or members, overall time limits and limitations of non-paying guests. Failure to comply with these rules and Stanford Golf Course’s rules and regulations with regards to social distancing may result in the forfeiture of your practice round and potentially disqualification from the tournament.
AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE : As part of the AJGA’s Code of Conduct policy players are required to fill their divots and ball marks on the golf course. Players will receive a small, lightweight sand bottle at the beginning of each event and should fill the bottles at the sand filling stations on each tee as necessary. The penalty for not following this policy is as follows:
· 1st & 2nd offense – Player receives a verbal warning
· 3rd & subsequent offenses – Player receives a one-stroke penalty
SCORECARDS: Players will be required to bring a smart phone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius application (available on iOS or Android) to use for their official scorecard and live scoring during all AJGA events. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions on how to use the app can be found here and here . Each player will be provided with a GGID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. The player is responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round.
PLAYER REGISTRATION: It is recommended that players do not arrive for player registration more than one hour before their tee time. The AJGA will take precautions to make sure player gifts are sanitized prior to registration.

Registration is MANDATORY. Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss Player Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from this event because they are not staying at the host hotel or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.

FLAGSTICK : The flagstick is fixed in the hole and MUST NOT be deliberately removed by any player. If a player removes the flagstick, she will incur a one-stroke penalty under the AJGA Code of Conduct Policy.

RANGEFINDERS: The AJGA allows the usage of distance-measuring devices in all AJGA competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).
SPECTATOR GOLF CARTS: Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site to receive an approved cart.
PUSH CARTS: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.
