The Polo Golf Junior Classic returns to Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey after a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event now in its 42nd year is the only match play format event on the AJGA schedule. This year will feature 64 juniors, 32 boys and 32 girls, competing over four days to crown a match play champion.
Play is split into two divisions; the Polo, Boys Division and Liberty, Girls Division. Within each division there are eight pools lettered A through H. The field is ranked one to 32 based on their ranking in the Rolex AJGA Rankings as of June 22nd. A players one to 32 rank decides what pool they are placed in. Play begins on Tuesday June 29th. Each junior will play round robin within their pool. The initial pool matches will be played Tuesday and Wednesday followed by tiebreaker matches Wednesday afternoon. Each day through Sunday we will reveal two new pools in both the Polo and Liberty division.
