Meng was the Qualifier Medalist earlier this week at the Randy Wise Junior Open. She was a 2020 member of the Junior All-Star team.
VanArragon had three birdies in the round. She was the 2021 Champion of the Minnesota Girls Junior PGA Championship.
PJ Maybank of Cheboygan, Michigan, leads the Boys Division by four strokes with a score of 5-under-par 67. He had four birdies and one eagle in the round. He was named the 2021 Champion of the Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Boyne Highlands.

Eli Myers of Northbrook, Illinois, Jason Gordon of Northbrook, Illinois, and Cole Starnes of Fishers, Indiana, share fifth with a score of even-par 72. Myers eagled No. 15. Gordon and Starnes birdied No. 13.
