Henry Guan - Sedgefield Country Club - 2022 - Wyndham Invitational

Greensboro, NC – Henry Guan of Dallas, moved ahead of the competition after the second round of the Wyndham Invitational presented by Truist.

The 2026 graduate shot 2-under-par 68 in the second round to grab the lead at 6-under-par 134.

The 21st annual Wyndham Invitational presented by Truist returned to the historic Sedgefield Country Club. The 72-player field consisting of boys ages 12-19 features 36 college commits, 40 players ranked in the top-100 of the Rolex AJGA Rankings, and 43 AJGA champions.

The field hails from three different countries, 14 different states and currently has 10 boys at even-par or better following the second round.

Guan made his first birdie of the day early on hole No. 2. A minor setback on hole three led to a bogey, but that didn’t stop Guan from shooting even on the next four holes before making a birdie on No. 8 and rounding off the front nine with a 1-under-par 34. Guan added three more birdies to his round on Nos. 10, 12, and 15. The No. 53 ranked player in the Rolex AJGA Rankings finished the day at 2-under-par 68 to grab the lead.

The AJGA is so important to me. This is the biggest tour in junior golf, so these are obviously going to be the best players. I am going to learn from a lot of people.
