Millions of veterans risk their lives each year to protect the Constitution and the American dream. In recognition of these sacrifices, junior golfer Carson Kim set out to support those who lay it all on the line for us each and every day.
Kim has been supporting the Veteran's Golf Association for nearly four years now.
The Veteran's Golf Association is an organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families through the camaraderie of golf. Each year, they host 450 competitive golf tournaments across the United States.
It was after receiving an email about Leadership Links that Kim decided he wanted to give back to his community.
"I've had family in the military. They do so much to protect our country and allow us to live the lives that we do. I just felt like it was the least I could do to give back and show my appreciation."
Kim has raised nearly $10,000 for the Veteran's Golf Association over the past four years. The rising senior will be taking his junior golf talents to the University of Southern California.
