The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), in partnership with TaylorMade Golf, today announced the debut of the Team TaylorMade Cup, a premier team competition for the Junior All‑Star age division (12-15), scheduled for July 6–9, 2026, at The Saticoy Club in Somis, California.

The Team TaylorMade Cup will showcase 32 of the top Junior All‑Star‑aged players (ages 12–15) in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, creating one of the most competitive junior team events in the world. The field will consist of the Top 16 boys and Top 16 girls based on the Rolex AJGA Rankings. To be eligible, players must be no older than 14 on January 1, 2026.

“The Team TaylorMade Cup represents everything we believe in when it comes to the future of the game; elite competition, collaboration and a platform that challenges young athletes in new ways. Partnering with the AJGA on this event allows us to help create a one‑of‑a‑kind team experience for the best Junior All‑Star players in the world while reinforcing values like leadership, teamwork and competitive excellence.”
Ryan Ressa, Manager, Player Development at TaylorMade Golf

The 32 invited players will be divided into four teams of eight, with four boys and four girls on each team, highlighting the AJGA’s commitment to inclusive competition and team‑based formats. Each team will be led by one of four TaylorMade Player Representatives who will serve as captains:

  • Manny Girona
  • Connor Sullivan
  • RJ Cesario
  • Andrew Morgan

Following the initial player selection to the event based on rankings, the four captains will conduct a team draft, with additional details regarding the selection process to be announced at a later date.

Tournament Format
The Team TaylorMade Cup will feature a unique blend of individual and team competition across three days:

  • Day 1: 18 holes of individual stroke play for team seeding
  • Day 2: Morning Four‑Ball matches followed by Afternoon Foursomes
  • Day 3: Singles matches
    • Championship Matches: Winning teams from Day 2

“The Team TaylorMade Cup is an exciting addition to the AJGA schedule and a meaningful opportunity for our Junior All‑Star boys and girls to compete in a team‑oriented environment. This event brings together elite talent, innovative formats and an outstanding partner in TaylorMade to create a championship that will challenge these young players while helping prepare them for the next levels of the game.”
