The inaugural Team TaylorMade Cup makes its debut at The Saticoy Club, featuring a standout field of elite junior golfers. The Invitational includes 19 AJGA champions, seven players ranked among the top 100 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings, 16 California natives and two rising stars from the Class of 2031. Established in 1921, the historic course is home to the iconic tree featured in its logo, which still stands behind the No. 13 green. Known for its classic design and championship pedigree, The Saticoy Club provides a fitting stage for the inaugural Team TaylorMade Cup and continues to offer one of the premier tests in junior golf.
Tournament Format
To open the championship, four TaylorMade Golf representatives Andrew Morgan, RJ Cesario, Connor Sullivan and Manny Girona had their players randomly assigned to a team. Each team will consist of four boys and four girls for a total of 32 players ages 12 to 15. The four teams are represented by Team Ambassadors Amari Avery, Karl Vilips, Megha Ganne and Michael Thorbjornsen. Each captain leads the team aligned with a respective ambassador with Morgan representing Team Amari, Cesario representing Team Karl, Sullivan representing Team Megha and Girona representing Team Thor.
Competition will begin with a stroke play portion on July 7 with tee times from 7:30 to 8:54 a.m. off No. 1. Stroke play will determine the team seeding for the remainder of the event, with all individual scores from each team combined and ranked from lowest to highest. The team with the lowest total score will earn the No. 1 seed, while the team with the highest total will be seeded No. 4. The remaining two teams will be seeded No. 2 and No. 3.
After seeding is determined, July 8 will feature Four-Ball and Foursomes matches. Four-Ball matches will tee off No. 1 from 7:30 to 8:54 a.m., followed by Foursomes matches from 1:30 to 2:40 p.m. In both sessions, the No. 1 seeded team will compete against the No. 4 seeded team, while the No. 2 seeded team will face the No. 3 seeded team. Boys will compete against boys and girls will compete against girls in all matches. Pairings for each match will be determined the day prior.
Heading into the final day, which will feature Singles matches with tee times off No. 1 from 7:30 to 9:45 a.m. to determine the Team Champion, the team with the most points from the No. 1 vs. No. 4 matchup will face the team with the most points from the No. 2 vs. No. 3 matchup to decide the title. The two teams with the fewest points from those respective matchups will compete against each other to determine third place.

Kim sits at No. 36 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and is the highest-ranked junior in the field. She has recorded two career AJGA victories, with her most recent coming at the 2026 K.J. Choi Foundation Texas Junior Championship hosted by PacificLinks Korea. Hooker stands at No. 77 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and has recorded seven top-10 AJGA finishes since 2022.
Team Karl - Aubrey Lee of Stevenson Ranch, California & Alan Yoda of Temecula, California
Lee sits at No. 93 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and has collected seven top-five AJGA finishes in her career. Yoda stands at No. 111 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and has recorded two career AJGA victories, with his most recent coming at the 2026 SERI PAK Desert Junior.
Team Megha - Keira Shavitranuruk of Orlando, Florida & Brayden Verret of Farmers Branch, Texas
Shavitranuruk sits at No. 105 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and has recorded two career AJGA victories, both coming in 2026. Verret stands at No. 148 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and previously won the Boys Division of the 2026 Visit Conroe Junior All-Star presented by NIPPON SHAFT, while Shavitranuruk captured the Girls Division title at the same event.
Team Thor - Maggie Ma of Irvine, California & Hiroto Ozawa of Fuchu, Tokyo, Japan
Ma sits at No. 67 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and was a 2025 Junior All-Star Team member. She recently recorded her fourth AJGA victory at the 2026 SERI PAK Desert Junior. Ozawa is ranked No. 112 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings and has recorded his second AJGA victory at the 2026 AJGA Junior at Rayburn Resort presented by the City of Jasper.

The stroke play portion of the tournament begins Tuesday, July 7, with tee times from 7:30–8:54 a.m. off No. 1. On Wednesday, July 8, Four-Ball matches will be played in the morning (7:30–8:54 a.m.), followed by Foursomes matches in the afternoon (1:30–2:40 p.m.), all starting on No. 1. The event ends Thursday, July 9, with Singles matches from 7:30–9:45 a.m. off Hole No. 1.
