An AJGA Staff member will be located on the practice putting green with hole locations and sand bottle All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart.

Additional Practice Rounds Information

Players may arrange a maximum of one additional practice round at the course on an individual basis up to seven days prior to the event by calling (650) 724-0944, pending course availability. Please identify yourself as an AJGA participant when calling to arrange a practice round.

DRIVING RANGE AVAILABILITY:

Dates: August 12-15
Times: 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. (Tournament Days), 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Practice Round)
Balls: Complimentary before and after play
Note: IMPORTANT: the driving range is a two-minute drive away from the course, located at 51 Campus Drive, Stanford, CA 94305. Although it is very close, a busy street separates it from the course and it is NOT accessible to pedestrians. There is ample parking at the driving range for your personal vehicle. If needed, the AJGA can provide transportation to and from the range for juniors traveling alone. If you require this service, please alert the Tournament Director Hailey Estes in advance at hestes@ajga.org or (360) 477-2087 and we will be happy to assist you!

BUSHNELL BORROW PROGRAM:

As the Official Rangefinder of the AJGA, Bushnell has provided all players the opportunity to borrow a PRO XE or TOUR V4 rangefinder. Rangefinders can be used on a first-come, first-serve basis at every event. If you are interested, see the Tournament Director on-site to reserve one and sign an agreement form.

BIG MAX PUSH CART BORROW PROGRAM:

As the Official Push Cart of the AJGA, BIG MAX has provided all players the opportunity to borrow a push cart at one tournament per year. Players who borrow during an AJGA event will be eligible to win a free BIG MAX push cart in December. Two BIG MAX push carts can be used on a first-come, first-serve basis at every event. If you are interested, see the Tournament Director on-site to reserve one and sign an agreement form.

Players unable to register at this time MUST notify Tournament Director Hailey Estes prior to Monday, August 12. Players Registration is MANDATORY. Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss Players Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel, are staying in private housing for the week, or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.

Note: Players assume the entire risk if they call any other number or individual and receive an incorrect starting time.

A tie for the championship will be decided by a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. As inclement weather may delay play, please make your departing flight as late as possible. The AJGA will play until dark if necessary to complete the tournament. Should the player need to withdraw for travel related reasons please understand the withdrawal will be classified as questionable.

TOURNAMENT COOKOUT & WELCOME DINNER:

Please see the Schedule of Events for all meals available during the event. Meals are complimentary for players and up to two guests courtesy of the Swinging Skirts. Player attendance is mandatory at the Welcome Dinner to show appreciation to those who make the event possible. Note that all players will be asked to change into the tournament shirt given at registration for a group photo. Golf attire is acceptable for all players and guests.

AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE:

At all events players will receive a small sand bottle prior to the round to use throughout the day to fill divots on the course. Sand-filling stations will be set up around the course for players to use during their round. The driving range will be set up with sand for players to use following their practice session before and after the round.

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS:

All Junior Plus Members will have the opportunity to have their swings taped on the driving range for the College Coaches website at any time during the event. Players must see the Tournament Director to schedule a time to film their swing video. If you are unsure of your membership status, a list is available in tournament headquarters.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Code of Conduct. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct. Proper attire is required at all times and failure to comply may result in disqualification. Click here to view the AJGA’s Code of Conduct .

PACE OF PLAY:

All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Pace of Play policy. Pace of play will be reviewed with all players during the Players Meeting, the Practice Round and on the starting tees before each round. Click here to review the AJGA Pace of Play Policy.

OTHER INFORMATION:

The condition of competition requiring a player’s clubs conform to the groove and punch mark specifications as detailed in the Rules of Golf Effective January 2019 is IN effect for AJGA competitions. To determine if a club or set of clubs conforms to the new specifications, players should first search the Informational Club Database (Grooves) which is available at http://www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/index.asp

  • Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site to receive an approved cart.
  • Caddies are not permitted in AJGA tournament play.
  • Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.

NO SHOW POLICY:

If you find that you cannot compete in this event, you must withdraw from the event online through the Player Center. If the online withdrawal option is not available, you must speak directly with the tournament director. Complete withdrawal procedures prior to the start of an event are available at ajga.org. This allows the AJGA to replace you with an alternate. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show," and the following action may be taken:

  1. If you have already been accepted for another event, you may be notified of your disqualification from that event.
  2. If you have not been accepted in another event at this time, your next application may not be considered.
  3. If this offense is repeated, you may not be allowed to play in any more events for the remainder of the year.
