Four tie for Boys Division Medalist honors

Ethan Bridges of Montgomery, Texas, Ariihau Faana of Lake Mary, Florida, JeongJoo Kim (South Korea) of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, and Jake Maggert of The Woodlands, Texas, all tied for medalist honors at 1-over-par 73. Of the four medalists, only Bridges has previously won an AJGA Qualifier event.

Bridges carded two birdies on the back nine while Faana carded two birdies on the front nine to help secure their spots atop the leaderboard. Kim played consistently throughout the round, with only two bogeys. After opening the front nine with a double bogey, Maggert notched four birdies to put himself into the first place tie.

Both Bridges and Maggert were already set to compete in the AJGA Junior at Oldfield, June 21-24.

Dilyara Bulambayeva (Kazakhstan) of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, and Hibiki Adachi (Japan) also of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, both
shot 4-over-par 76 to tie for Girls Division medalist honors. This is the first time that both Bulambayeva and Adachi have won an AJGA Qualifier event.

Bulambayeva had one birdie and three bogeys during her round to help her secure a spot in the AJGA Junior at Oldfield. Adachi had two birdies and six bogeys during her round to earn medalist honors.
