Emily Mathews of Mebane, North Carolina, and Lucy Yuan of (Canada) San Diego, conclude the second round of the Girls Division tied for first place at The Lanto Junior Championship at 3-under-par 141. Mathews has six top-ten finishes in AJGA events and is No. 121 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. She had three birdies on the round to shoot a 2-under-par 70. While Yuan has nine top-ten finishes in AJGA events and is No. 28 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. Yuan had four birdies on the round to shoot an even-par 72.

Matthew Monastero of Leesburg, Virginia, finished the second round of the Boys Division in first place with a score of a 6-under-par 138. Monastero has five top-ten finishes in AJGA events. The Virginia native is currently No. 218 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings.
