PARKING INFORMATION
On Monday, July 13, all players participating in the Practice Round shotgun at 8 a.m. will be required to park off-site at Centerbranch Church. No parking will be allowed at Bridgeport Country Club for the Practice Round. Players may be dropped off at Bridgeport Country Club, but all cars will be required to park at Centerbranch Church after completing any drop-offs.

OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION
Date: Monday, July 13
Time: 8 a.m. Shotgun. Players will be called to the carts for announcements approximately 30 minutes prior to the shotgun.
Golf Course: Bridgeport Country Club
Practice Facilities Time: 6:30 a.m.

Signup Dates: Monday, July 6 – Sunday, July 12

AJGA Staff members will be located on the course to complete equipment surveys and to answer any questions.
Practice Round Hole Locations will be available at the cart staging area. Tournament Hole Locations will be on the tournament website. All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart. All parents and family members are always required to stay on the cart path during the practice round. Please review the AJGA Player and Spectator Code of Conduct prior to the practice round.

Information about additional practice rounds will be available at a later date. Please do not contact Bridgeport Country Club about additional practice rounds until this information is confirmed.

JUNIOR-AM INFORMATION:
Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament

Time: 1:30 p.m. Shotgun – Bridgeport Country Club

We encourage juniors to play in the Junior-Am as it is a great opportunity to show appreciation to all the sponsors who are supporting the tournament and benefiting charities.

PRACTICE FACILITIES: Players are encouraged to arrive on-site no more than one hour before their posted tee time.  Players are encouraged to arrive on-site no more than one hour before their posted tee time. The driving range at Bridgeport Country Club has a strict iron-only restriction. The driving range at Bridgeport Country Club has limited availability, all players will be permitted one bag of ball prior to and following their rounds. An AJGA staff member or volunteer will be monitoring the driving range at all times.

OFF SITE DRIVING RANGE : As an additional practice option, players may use the Deerfield Driving Range located at 3747 Fairmont Ave, Fairmoint WV 26554, which will be open beginning at 6:30 a.m. July 14-16. There is no club restriction at Deerfield Driving Range.

POST ROUND: Limited practice will be permitted at the host facility. All players will be given one bag of balls to use on the driving range following their round. There is no restriction for how long players may utilize the practice putting green and short-game area. An AJGA staff member or volunteer will be monitoring the practice facilities. Failure to abide by the outlined practice facility schedule may result in forfeiture of additional practice time .

PLAYER REGISTRATION: It is recommended that players do not arrive for player registration more than one hour before their tee time.

Players unable to register at this time MUST notify Tournament Director Carl Ernst prior to Monday, July 13 at 609-247-3109.
Registration is MANDATORY.Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss the Players Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.

CLUBHOUSE GUIDELINES:  Players will have access to the entire facility throughout the week. Player Dining and Parent Only Area will be in the Banquet Room.

TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS:  The WVU Medicine United Hospital Center Junior Championship Tournament Headquarters are located in the Conference Room off the main dining/grill area.

SCORECARDS: Players will be required to bring a smart phone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius application (available on iOS or Android) to use for their official scorecard and live scoring during all AJGA events. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions on how to use the app can be found here . Each player will be provided with a GGID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. The player is responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round. Under Rule 3.3b(1) after each hole during the round, the marker should confirm with the player the number of strokes on that hole and enter the gross score on the scorecard. Failure to uphold their responsibility as the marker may result in a penalty or disqualification in violation of the AJGA’s Player Code of Conduct.        

AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE: As part of the AJGA’s Code of Conduct policy players are required to fill their divots and ball marks on the golf course. Players will receive a small, lightweight sand bottle at the beginning of each event and should fill the bottles at the sand filling stations on each tee as necessary. The penalty for not following this policy is as follows:

·        1st & 2nd offense – Player receives a verbal warning
·        3rd & subsequent offenses – Player receives a one-stroke penalty

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS by FLIGHTSCOPE: All Junior Plus Members may record swing metrics and an HD video through FlightScope technology on the driving range at any time during the event.  Players can share videos and data in their Player Center, shared to college coaches through AJGA recruiting profiles.  Contact the Tournament Director to schedule time to film a swing video.

PUSH CARTS: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.

RANGEFINDERS: The AJGA allows the usage of distance-measuring devices in all AJGA competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).

SPECTATOR GOLF CARTS: Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site, prior to the first round, to receive an approved cart.
