In order to fully process your request for private housing, you will be sent information via email to complete. The AJGA will be facilitating background checks of all possible housing options as a way to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere during the event. These checks come with a $50 non-refundable, administrative fee. Upon your request for private housing, the AJGA will bear the expense of the check up-front, and thus, the fee is non-refundable as the process cannot be reversed or withdrawn.

In addition, the ANNIKA Invitational USA presented by Rolex will have the Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament Friday, January 18. This event will be a 12:30 p.m. shotgun at World Golf Village -Slammer & Squire Course. We encourage juniors to play in the Junior-Am as it is a great opportunity to show your appreciation for all the people and sponsors that make AJGA Tournaments possible. Players may arrange additional practice rounds by contacting World Golf Village – Slammer & Squire Course at (904) 940 - 6088 on an individual basis. Additional practice rounds will be $49+ for juniors and will be subject to the World Golf Village – Slammer & Squire Course's availability. Adults will pay the revailing daily rate.

Players unable to register at this time MUST notify Tournament Director Shannon Dudzinski prior to January 18 at (904) 228-6324 or sdudzinski@ajga.org. Both events are mandatory. Players who fail to attend either or both of these functions without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss Players Registration and Players Meeting will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel, are staying in private housing for the week, or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.

A tie for the championship will be decided by a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. As inclement weather may delay play, please make your departing flight as late as possible. The AJGA will play until dark if necessary to complete the tournament. Should the player need to withdraw for travel related reasons please understand the withdrawal will be classified as questionable.

WORLD GOLF HALL OF FAME DINNER HONORING JUDY RANKIN: The World Golf Hall of Fame Dinner will be held Friday, January 18 from 7:30 – 9 p.m. at The World Golf Hall of Fame. All players are allowed to bring two guests. Attire for dinner is dress or skirts for ladies. Coat and tie is not required for men. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY.

ANNIKA CLINIC SPONSORED BY ROLEX: Annika will host a clinic on the driving range of World Golf Village for all players starting at 4 p.m., following the first round, Saturday, January 19. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY.

MORE THAN GOLF – FIRST TEE OF NORTH FLORIDA CLINIC: On Sunday, January 20 we will be hosting a clinic with the First Tee of North Florida for their junior members. The clinic will begin at 3 p.m. While attendance is not mandatory, we highly encourage all participants spend a few minutes participating in the clinic.

TRAVEL STIPEND:

The tournament will reimburse up to $200 for players traveling within the United States and up to $500 for players traveling from outside the United States for costs associated with travel (airfare/gas/mileage), rental car and lodging. To receive the full stipend, you must stay at the host hotel. If you do not stay at the host hotel, you are eligible to receive a $100 stipend. To receive the reimbursement, fill out the form located on the tournament webpage. You may also bring receipts to the tournament or submit to the AJGA by Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE:

At all events players will receive a small sand bottle prior to the round to use throughout the day to fill divots on the course. Sand-filling stations will be set up around the course for players to use during their round. The driving range will be set up with sand for players to use following their practice session before and after the round.

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS:

All Junior Plus Members will have the opportunity to have their swings taped on the driving range for the College Coaches website at any time during the event. Players must see the Tournament Director to schedule a time to film their swing video. If you are unsure of your membership status, a list is available in tournament headquarters.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Code of Conduct. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct. Proper attire is required at all times and failure to comply may result in disqualification. Click here to view the AJGA’s Code of Conduct .

PACE OF PLAY:

All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Pace of Play policy. Pace of play will be reviewed with all players during the Players Meeting, the Practice Round and on the starting tees before each round. Click here to review the AJGA Pace of Play Policy.

OTHER INFORMATION:

  • The condition of competition requiring a player’s clubs conform to the groove and punch mark specifications as detailed in the Rules of Golf Effective January 2019 is IN effect for AJGA competitions. To determine if a club or set of clubs conforms to the new specifications, players should first search the Informational Club Database (Grooves) which is available at http://www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/index.asp
  • Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site to receive an approved cart.
  • Caddies are not permitted in AJGA tournament play.
  • Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.

NO SHOW POLICY:

If you find that you cannot compete in this event, you must withdraw from the event online through the Player Center. If the online withdrawal option is not available, you must speak directly with the tournament director. Complete withdrawal procedures prior to the start of an event are available at ajga.org. This allows the AJGA to replace you with an alternate. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show," and the following action may be taken:

  1. If you have already been accepted for another event, you may be notified of your disqualification from that event.
  2. If you have not been accepted in another event at this time, your next application may not be considered.
  3. If this offense is repeated, you may not be allowed to play in any more events for the remainder of the year.
