Private Housing: Please contact Tournament Director Madison Scudder at (770) 313-6034 or mscudder@ajga.org if you need or are seeking more information on private housing. This option is first come, first served, and is not guaranteed, so please contact the tournament director as soon as possible.

In order to fully process your request for private housing, you will be sent information via email to complete. The AJGA will be facilitating background checks of all possible housing options as a way to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere during the event. These checks come with a $50 non-refundable, administrative fee. Upon your request for private housing, the AJGA will bear the expense of the check up-front, and thus, the fee is non-refundable as the process cannot be reversed or withdrawn.

If you choose to stay somewhere other than Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge, please note that you will only be able to purchase food and beverages from the Snack Shack location on the Driving Range and will not be able to dine at any of the resturants or cafes located in the Lodge. Those are reserved only for guest of Bay Hill. Also, please note that the Snack Shack is CASH ONLY.

An AJGA Staff member will be located on the first tee with hole locations and sand bottle All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart.

Additional Practice Rounds Information

Players may arrange additional practice rounds by contacting Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge at (407) 876-2429 on an individual basis. Additional practice rounds are based on Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge's avaliablity and players are limited to 2 rounds per player due to limited avaliability.

In addition, the Arnold Palmer Invitational Junior honoring Jim Bell will have the Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament Monday, July 29. This event will be an 8 a.m. shotgun on Bay Hill's Club & Lodge's Challenger and Champions course. We encourage juniors to play in the Junior-Am as it is a great opportunity to show your appreciation for all the people and sponsors that make AJGA Tournaments possible. BIG MAX PUSH CART BORROW PROGRAM:

As the Official Push Cart of the AJGA, BIG MAX has provided all players the opportunity to borrow a push cart at one tournament per year. Players who borrow during an AJGA event will be eligible to win a free BIG MAX push cart in December. Two BIG MAX push carts can be used on a first-come, first-serve basis at every event. If you are interested, see the Tournament Director on-site to reserve one and sign an agreement form.

Players unable to register at this time MUST notify Tournament Director Madison Scudder prior to July 28 at (770) 313-6034. Registration is MANDITORY. Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss Players Registration and Players Meeting will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel, are staying in private housing for the week, or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.

Note: Players assume the entire risk if they call any other number or individual and receive an incorrect starting time.

A tie for the championship will be decided by a sudden-death playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. As inclement weather may delay play, please make your departing flight as late as possible. The AJGA will play until dark if necessary to complete the tournament. Should the player need to withdraw for travel related reasons please understand the withdrawal will be classified as questionable.

Information: Players, Parents and Volunteers and invited to join us at the PGA TOUR Superstore from 1 – 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30th following the first round. We will have a Longest Putt, Closest to the Hole and Long Drive Contests for juniors with prizes for the winners. There will be food and drinks for everyone. The PGA TOUR Superstore will be offering free labor on club repair and 10% off for in store purchases.

AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE:

At all events players will receive a small sand bottle prior to the round to use throughout the day to fill divots on the course. Sand-filling stations will be set up around the course for players to use during their round. The driving range will be set up with sand for players to use following their practice session before and after the round.

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS:

All Junior Plus Members will have the opportunity to have their swings taped on the driving range for the College Coaches website at any time during the event. Players must see the Tournament Director to schedule a time to film their swing video. If you are unsure of your membership status, a list is available in tournament headquarters.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Code of Conduct. Violations of the Code of Conduct will be dealt with based on the severity of the misconduct. Proper attire is required at all times and failure to comply may result in disqualification. Click here to view the AJGA’s Code of Conduct .

PACE OF PLAY:

All AJGA participants are expected to abide by the AJGA Pace of Play policy. Pace of play will be reviewed with all players during the Players Meeting, the Practice Round and on the starting tees before each round. Click here to review the AJGA Pace of Play Policy.

OTHER INFORMATION:

The condition of competition requiring a player’s clubs conform to the groove and punch mark specifications as detailed in the Rules of Golf Effective January 2019 is IN effect for AJGA competitions. To determine if a club or set of clubs conforms to the new specifications, players should first search the Informational Club Database (Grooves) which is available at http://www.usga.org/InfoClubsDB/index.asp

  • Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site to receive an approved cart.
  • Caddies are not permitted in AJGA tournament play.
  • Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.

NO SHOW POLICY:

If you find that you cannot compete in this event, you must withdraw from the event online through the Player Center. If the online withdrawal option is not available, you must speak directly with the tournament director. Complete withdrawal procedures prior to the start of an event are available at ajga.org. This allows the AJGA to replace you with an alternate. If you cannot compete and do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show," and the following action may be taken:

  1. If you have already been accepted for another event, you may be notified of your disqualification from that event.
  2. If you have not been accepted in another event at this time, your next application may not be considered.
  3. If this offense is repeated, you may not be allowed to play in any more events for the remainder of the year.
