Time: 1 – 3 p.m. off Nos. 1 and 10 Tees. Please arrive to the tee 10 minutes before your tee time.

An AJGA Staff member will be located on the first tee to complete equipment surveys and for tournament announcements.
Practice Round Hole Locations will be available at the starting tee. Tournament Hole Locations will be on the tournament website. All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart. All parents and family members are always required to stay on the cart path during the practice round. Please review the AJGA Player and Spectator Code of Conduct prior to the practice round.

ADDITIONAL PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION
Players and guests must comply with all host facility rules & regulations including, but not limited to, a restriction of the number of shots to be played, disrespectful behavior towards host club staff and/or members, overall time limits and limitations of non-paying guests.

Failure to comply with Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club – Ghost Creek’s rules and regulations and the AJGA Player and Spectator Code of Conduct may result in the following penalties:

  1. Forfeiture of your official practice round
  2. Two stroke penalty or disqualification from the tournament
  3. Loss of spectating privileges for the player involved

Player Cost: $45 for juniors. Let them know you are booking an additional AJGA practice round to receive this junior rate!
Parent Cost: $125 (weekday) or $145 (weekend).
Cart Fee: $24
Dates Available: Anytime through Sunday, August 17 based on course availability. If booking on the weekends, players are asked to book after 11 a.m. and additional times may be added at the course’s discretion. Tee times are limited on Friday, August 15 due to an outing.
Special Notes: Must be 18+ to drive a golf cart.

PRACTICE FACILITIES: Players are encouraged to arrive on-site no more than one hour before their posted tee time.

POST ROUND: Limited practice will be permitted at the host facility. All players will have 60 minutes starting immediately when the player leaves the scoring area to utilize the driving range given space and availability. The short game facilities and practice putting green will close at 7 p.m. Please note that the driving range will close at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 18. An AJGA staff member or volunteer will be monitoring the practice facilities. Failure to abide by the outlined practice facility schedule may result in forfeiture of additional practice time.

PLAYER REGISTRATION

Players unable to register at this time MUST notify Tournament Director Alex Miklinski prior to August 18 at (814) 823-4326.

Registration is MANDATORY. Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss the Players Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances. Please note that tournament gifts will not be handed out during Player Registration at the course. In order to receive tournament gifts, players must attend the mandatory social activity held at the adidas Employee Store following the First Round on Tuesday, August 19 from 3 – 6 p.m.

SOCIAL ACTIVITY:

Social Activity: Players will be given their tournament gifts and then will be able to shop at the adidas Employee Store where they are able to receive 50% off items!

CLUBHOUSE GUIDELINES: Players and Parents are asked to only limit themselves to the Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club – Ghost Creek facilities when on-site.

PARENTS MEETING
A Parents Meeting will be held by the AJGA staff in conjunction with the practice round to discuss the AJGA’s initiatives and policies and answer any questions.

TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS: The adidas Junior All-Star Tournament Headquarters is located in the Conference room at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club – Ghost Creek.

SCORECARDS: Players will be required to bring a smart phone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius application (available on iOS or Android) to use for their official scorecard and live scoring during all AJGA events. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions on how to use the app can be found here . Each player will be provided with a GGID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. The player is responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round. Under Rule 3.3b(1) after each hole during the round, the marker should confirm with the player the number of strokes on that hole and enter the gross score on the scorecard. Failure to uphold their responsibility as the marker may result in a penalty or disqualification in violation of the AJGA’s Player Code of Conduct.        

AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE: As part of the AJGA’s Code of Conduct policy players are required to fill their divots and ball marks on the golf course. Players will receive a small, lightweight sand bottle at the beginning of each event and should fill the bottles at the sand filling stations on each tee as necessary. The penalty for not following this policy is as follows:

· 1st & 2nd offense – Player receives a verbal warning
· 3rd & subsequent offenses – Player receives a one-stroke penalty

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS by FLIGHTSCOPE: All Junior Plus Members may record swing metrics and an HD video through FlightScope technology on the driving range at any time during the event. Players can share videos and data in their Player Center, shared to college coaches through AJGA recruiting profiles. Contact the Tournament Director to schedule time to film a swing video.

PUSH CARTS: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.

RANGEFINDERS: The AJGA allows the usage of distance-measuring devices in all AJGA competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).

SPECTATOR GOLF CARTS: Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site, prior to the first round, to receive an approved cart.
