An AJGA Staff member will be located on the first tee to complete equipment surveys and for tournament announcements.

Practice Round Hole Locations will be available at the starting tee. Tournament Hole Locations will be on the tournament website. All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart. All parents and family members are always required to stay on the cart path during the practice round. Please review the AJGA Player and Spectator Code of Conduct prior to the practice round.

ADDITIONAL PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION

Indiana Country Club’s course and practice facilities are CLOSED to AJGA participants (who are not themselves members of the club) other than the date(s) and times listed below. 

Attempting to practice, play or see the golf course and practice facilities (includes contacting the club or members inquiring about alternative times to practice or play) is not permitted at any time.

Players and guests must comply with all rules & expectations at the host facility including, but not limited to, a restriction of the number of shots to be played, disrespectful behavior towards host club staff and/or members, overall time limits and limitations of non-paying guests.

Failure to comply with the host facilities rules and regulations and the AJGA Player and Spectator Code of Conduct may result in the following penalties:

1. Forfeiture of your official practice round
2. Two stroke penalty or disqualification from the tournament
3. Loss of spectating privileges for the player involved

Special Notes: Available only during non-peak hours, $25 fee per day for practice facility use only. Course closed: April 14 -16, April 23.

PRACTICE FACILITIES: Players are encouraged to arrive on-site no more than one hour before their posted tee time. Due to limited length, the driving range at Indiana Country Club will be limited to Irons only.

OFF-SITE DRIVING RANGE: Indian Springs Golf Center is available to players wishing to practice using clubs longer than allowed at Indiana Country Club, prior to and after play. Directions from the golf course can be found here .

Please note that Indian Springs Golf Center is a self-service driving range and availability is first-come, first-served.

POST ROUND: Limited practice will be permitted at the host facility. All players will have 60 minutes starting immediately when the player leaves the scoring area. Players may spend their allotted practice time on either the practice putting or chipping green or driving range given space and availability. An AJGA staff member or volunteer will be monitoring the practice facilities. Failure to abide by the outlined practice facility schedule may result in forfeiture of additional practice time.

PLAYER REGISTRATION: It is recommended that players do not arrive for player registration more than one hour before their tee time.

Players unable to register at this time MUST notify Tournament Director Doug Camp prior to April 24 at (216) 406-3097.

Registration is MANDATORY. Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss the Players Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.

CLUBHOUSE GUIDELINES: The AJGA requests that players and parents remain to the left side of the clubhouse, specifically in areas including the Pro Shop, locker rooms, and the Grill Room, as to not interfere with other scheduled events happening at Indiana Country Club. Parents and players are asked to refrain from taking phone or video calls within any area inside the clubhouse.

IMPORTANT COURSE NOTES: Players are expected to walk to No. 11 tee to start their round, which is located several hundred yards from the clubhouse, past No. 10 green. There will not be shuttles available. Please consider this walking time when arriving for your posted tee time.

TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS: The AJGA Junior at Indiana Tournament Headquarters will be located in the Cigar Room within the Indiana Country Club Clubhouse.

SCORECARDS: Players will be required to bring a smart phone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius application (available on iOS or Android) to use for their official scorecard and live scoring during all AJGA events. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions on how to use the app can be found here . Each player will be provided with a GGID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. The player is responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round. Under Rule 3.3b(1) after each hole during the round, the marker should confirm with the player the number of strokes on that hole and enter the gross score on the scorecard. Failure to uphold their responsibility as the marker may result in a penalty or disqualification in violation of the AJGA’s Player Code of Conduct.
    
AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE: As part of the AJGA’s Code of Conduct policy players are required to fill their divots and ball marks on the golf course. Players will receive a small, lightweight sand bottle at the beginning of each event and should fill the bottles at the sand filling stations on each tee as necessary. The penalty for not following this policy is as follows:

· 1st & 2nd offense – Player receives a verbal warning
· 3rd & subsequent offenses – Player receives a one-stroke penalty

JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS by FLIGHTSCOPE: All Junior Plus Members may record swing metrics and an HD video through FlightScope technology on the driving range at any time during the event. Players can share videos and data in their Player Center, shared to college coaches through AJGA recruiting profiles. Contact the Tournament Director to schedule time to film a swing video.

PUSH CARTS: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.

RANGEFINDERS: The AJGA allows the usage of distance-measuring devices in all AJGA competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).

SPECTATOR GOLF CARTS: Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site, prior to the first round, to receive an approved cart.
