Cutoff: Tuesday, August 12
The Junior-Ams will serve as the official AJGA practice round. All players will be required to participate in one of the two Junior-Am Fundraising Tournaments. The morning Junior-Am will be a 8:30 a.m. shotgun and the afternoon will be an 2:15 p.m. shotgun on Thursday, August 21, at Planterra Club. To reserve a spot in either Junior-Am players must contact Tournament Director Trevon Wehrman by email at twehrman@ajga.org. Please specify morning or afternoon Junior-Am. The Junior-Am will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Once one Junior-Am is filled, the remainder of the field will be automatically placed into the other Junior-Am. Once both Junior-Am’s are filled, there will not be any other practice round spots granted.
An AJGA Staff member will be located on the first tee to complete equipment surveys and for tournament announcements.
Practice Round Hole Locations will be available at the starting tee. Tournament Hole Locations will be on the tournament website. All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart. All parents and family members are always required to stay on the cart path during the practice round. Please review the AJGA Player

ADDITIONAL PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION
Planterra Club’s course and practice facilities are CLOSED to AJGA participants (who are not themselves members of the club) other than the date(s) and times listed below.
Attempting to practice, play or see the golf course and practice facilities (includes contacting the club or members inquiring about alternative times to practice or play) is not permitted at any time.
Players and guests must comply with all rules & expectations at the host facility including, but not limited to, a restriction of the number of shots to be played, disrespectful behavior towards host club staff and/or members, overall time limits and limitations of non-paying guests.
Failure to comply with the host facilities rules and regulations and the AJGA Player and Spectator Code of Conduct may result in the following penalties:
1. Forfeiture of your official practice round
2. Two stroke penalty or disqualification from the tournament
3. Loss of spectating privileges for the player involved

Special Notes: Tee times can only be made 3 days in advance. Planterra Club is closed on Monday’s. Please mention that you are an AJGA participant. There is no access granted to the course except one hour prior to your scheduled tee time. Players will not be able to use the range, short game facility or practice putting green after their round.
PRACTICE FACILITIES: Due to the limited driving range space players will be assigned practice times on the driving range and practice putting green before the round. A player’s time on the driving range will start one hour prior to their tee time and depending on the tournament the player will be allotted up to 30 minutes to warm up on the driving range. An AJGA staff member will be located at the driving range monitoring players and enforcing social distancing. At the end of the player’s driving range time they may then go to the practice putting green and short game area.
POST ROUND: Limited practice will be permitted at the host facility. All players will have 60 minutes starting immediately when the player leaves the scoring area. Players who choose to use their allotted time may only use the putting green. The driving range and short game area will remain closed to AJGA participants. An AJGA staff member or volunteer will be monitoring the practice facilities. Failure to abide by the outlined practice facility schedule may result in forfeiture of additional practice time.

PLAYER REGISTRATION: It is recommended that players do not arrive for player registration more than one hour before their tee time.

Registration is MANDATORY. Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss the Players Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.
TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS: The Billy Horschel Atlanta Classic presented by Zurich Tournament Headquarters is located at MEI Corporation, 1132 Dividend Ct, Peachtree City 30269.
SCORECARDS: Players will be required to bring a smart phone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius application (available on iOS or Android) to use for their official scorecard and live scoring during all AJGA events. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions on how to use the app can be found here . Each player will be provided with a GGID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. The player is responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round. Under Rule 3.3b(1) after each hole during the round, the marker should confirm with the player the number of strokes on that hole and enter the gross score on the scorecard. Failure to uphold their responsibility as the marker may result in a penalty or disqualification in violation of the AJGA’s Player Code of Conduct.
AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE: As part of the AJGA’s Code of Conduct policy players are required to fill their divots and ball marks on the golf course. Players will receive a small, lightweight sand bottle at the beginning of each event and should fill the bottles at the sand filling stations on each tee as necessary. The penalty for not following this policy is as follows:
· 1st & 2nd offense – Player receives a verbal warning
· 3rd & subsequent offenses – Player receives a one-stroke penalty
JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS by FLIGHTSCOPE: All Junior Plus Members may record swing metrics and an HD video through FlightScope technology on the driving range at any time during the event. Players can share videos and data in their Player Center, shared to college coaches through AJGA recruiting profiles. Contact the Tournament Director to schedule time to film a swing video.

PUSH CARTS: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.
RANGEFINDERS: The AJGA allows the usage of distance-measuring devices in all AJGA competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).
SPECTATOR GOLF CARTS: Golf carts and spectator carts are not allowed without a Government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard. Please see the Tournament Director on-site, prior to the first round, to receive an approved cart.
