NOTE TO PLAYER AND PARENTS

Please be advised that high winds are expected at Port Royal Golf Course in Bermuda, with average wind speeds around 18.7 mph and gusts reaching up to 36.4 mph. These conditions can create very challenging playing situations, especially on exposed holes and elevated greens. The AJGA will work with Port Royal Golf Course to provide a fair playing opportunity through green speeds and yardages, while also keeping player safety at the forefront. For examples of the potential wind conditions during the event, view the highlights from the 2025 PGA TOUR Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

DRIVING RANGE – IRONS ONLY ON TOURNAMENT DAYS BEFORE AND DURING PLAY

Port Royal Golf Course’s Driving Range will be irons only before and during the days where tournament rounds will be played, due to player and spectator safety concerns on the golf course. Players will be able to use driver on the days leading up to the tournament, as well as each day once play is complete for that day. AJGA Staff and Butterfield Bermuda Championship Staff will be on the driving range to enforce this rule.
