OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION
Date: Monday, August 10
Time: 2 p.m. Shotgun. Players will be called to the carts for announcements approximately 30 minutes prior to the shotgun.
Golf Course: Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club
Practice Facilities Time: 6:30 a.m.
Signup: Golf Genius (link to sign up for a starting hole will be sent out one week before practice round)
Signup Dates: Monday, August 3 – Sunday, August 9
AJGA Staff members will be located on the course to complete equipment surveys and to answer any questions.
Practice Round Hole Locations will be available at the cart staging area. Tournament Hole Locations will be on the tournament website. All players are required to carry their own bag or use a push cart. All parents and family members are always required to stay on the cart path during the practice round. ADDITIONAL PRACTICE ROUND INFORMATION
Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club course and practice facilities are CLOSED to AJGA participants (who are not themselves members of the club) other than the date(s) and times listed below.
Attempting to practice, play or see the golf course and practice facilities (includes contacting the club or members inquiring about alternative times to practice or play) is not permitted at any time.
Players and guests must comply with all rules & expectations at the host facility including, but not limited to, a restriction of the number of shots to be played, disrespectful behavior towards host club staff and/or members, overall time limits and limitations of non-paying guests.
Failure to comply with the host facilities rules and regulations and the AJGA Player
and Spectator
Code of Conduct may result in the following penalties:
1. Forfeiture of your official practice round
2. Two stroke penalty or disqualification from the tournament
3. Loss of spectating privileges for the player involved

Weather Policy: If inclement weather or course conditions prevent play, additional practice rounds may be cancelled by the host facility. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and depends on course availability. Players may be offered:
- A practice round on another available day, or
- A refund for the unused round

JUNIOR-AM INFORMATION:
Junior-Am Fundraising Tournament
Date: Monday, August 10
Time: 9 a.m. shotgun – Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club
We encourage juniors to play in the Junior-Am as it is a great opportunity to show appreciation to all the sponsors who are supporting the tournament and benefiting charities.

PRACTICE FACILITIES: Players are encouraged to arrive on-site no more than an hour and a half before the practice round shotgun.
DRIVING RANGE: The driving range at Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club is irons only and has a 225 yard limit. Golf balls will be provided on the range for tournament participants before their tee time. Alternate public driving ranges for players to use before and after play will be listed soon.
POST ROUND: All players will be required to leave the facility immediately following their round.

· The Northern Neck Junior All-Star at Indian Creek does NOT have a cut.
PLAYER REGISTRATION: It is recommended that players do not arrive for player registration more than one hour before the shotgun.

Time: 7 – 8:30 a.m. for Junior-Am juniors and Noon – 1:30 p.m. for practice round juniors

Players unable to register at this time MUST notify Tournament Director Jack Mitzelfelt prior to August 10 at 443-952-0737.
Registration is MANDATORY.Players who fail to attend without prior approval from the tournament director may forfeit their tournament gifts. Approval to miss the Players Registration will be granted only in extreme circumstances. An individual absent from these events because they are not staying at the host hotel or have a long commute do not constitute acceptable circumstances.
TOURNAMENT HEADQUARTERS: The Indian Creek Yacht & Country Club Tournament Headquarters is in the main clubhouse.
SCORECARDS: Players will be required to bring a smart phone or device with internet capabilities that supports the Golf Genius application (available on iOS or Android) to use for their official scorecard and live scoring during all AJGA events. Please make sure you have the most updated version of the app. Instructions on how to use the app can be found here . Each player will be provided with a GGID at the starting tee and will be assigned to mark for another player in the group. The player is responsible for providing their own device and ensuring it is fully charged for the round. Under Rule 3.3b(1) after each hole during the round, the marker should confirm with the player the number of strokes on that hole and enter the gross score on the scorecard. Failure to uphold their responsibility as the marker may result in a penalty or disqualification in violation of the AJGA’s Player Code of Conduct.
AJGA CARES FOR THE COURSE: As part of the AJGA’s Code of Conduct policy players are required to fill their divots and ball marks on the golf course. Players will receive a small, lightweight sand bottle at the beginning of each event and should fill the bottles at the sand filling stations on each tee as necessary. The penalty for not following this policy is as follows:
· 1st & 2nd offense – Player receives a verbal warning
· 3rd & subsequent offenses – Player receives a one-stroke penalty
JUNIOR PLUS MEMBER SWING VIDEOS by FLIGHTSCOPE: All Junior Plus Members may record swing metrics and an HD video through FlightScope technology on the driving range at any time during the event. Players can share videos and data in their Player Center, shared to college coaches through AJGA recruiting profiles. Contact the Tournament Director to schedule time to film a swing video.

PUSH CARTS: Push carts (non-motorized) are approved for use by all players as permitted by the host facility. Players are responsible for providing their own push carts.
RANGEFINDERS: The AJGA allows the usage of distance-measuring devices in all AJGA competitions. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or MEASURE OTHER CONDITIONS that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 4.3(1).
SPECTATOR GOLF CARTS: Please review the updated AJGA Spectator Cart Policy before arriving on-site. The Northern Neck Junior All-Star at Indian Creek will have a limited number of golf carts available ONLY for those with a government issued Blue Permanent Handicap placard on a first come, first served basis. There is a possibility no carts will be available. Doctor’s notes will not be accepted.
