Step 5: Breaking Ties

Open Tournaments*:

  1. 2025 graduates from the state of the tournament who have yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  2. 2025 graduates from a bordering state of the tournament who have yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  3. All other 2025 graduates who have yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  4. Any player with an earned status (not received for membership) from the state of the tournament who has yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  5. Any player with an earned status (not received for membership) from a bordering state of the tournament who has yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  6. Any player with an earned status (not received for membership) who has yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  7. Leadership Links Active Participant yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season.
  8. Any player who has yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  9. All other players

In case a tie still exists at any level, priority will be given to the following:

  1. 2025 graduates
  2. Ranking (Rolex AJGA or Junior Golf Scoreboard in that order)
  3. Leadership Links Active Participant Criteria
  4. Random Draw

AJGA Junior All-Star Series Tournaments*:

In case of a tie at any level, priority will be given as follows:

  1. National Ranking (Rolex AJGA or Junior Golf Scoreboard in that order) – players who have yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  2. Any player from the state of the tournament who has yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  3. Any player from a bordering state of the tournament who has yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  4. Leadership Links Active Participant yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season.
  5. Any player who has yet to earn entry into an AJGA tournament (excluding AJGA Preview Series) during the current season
  6. National Ranking (Rolex AJGA or Junior Golf Scoreboard in that order)
  7. Leadership Links Active Participant
  8. Graduation year (oldest to youngest)
  9. Random Draw

*If there are more Fully Exempt applications than spots to be filled via PBE, priority for Fully Exempt applications will be given to the following:

  • Rolex AJGA Ranking
  • Tie breaking steps as outlined above

Earn your first Performance Star by joining or renewing your membership with the AJGA and build your status from there.
Earn Performance Stars based on their finishes in state, regional and national level junior tournaments as well as AJGA qualifiers and tournaments
Players with the highest earned status as of the application deadline will gain entry into the event.
Fully exempt players and those with the most Performance Stars are given the highest priority.
Open and Junior All-Star Series Tournaments have clearly defined tie-breaking procedures to fill the tournament fields.
